"A well put together Burgundian-style/alternative Pinot Noir, akin to appellation Beaujolais. Light in colour - strawberry/raspberry. More light red fruit on the nose - strawberries, red currants, subtle cloves, slight floral rose element. Despite its colour, the palate is surprisingly flavourful - light to medium, ripe strawberries, cherries, and a subtle umami character, a surprise from this region. Medium finish that carries the balanced fruit and savoury character, and refreshing acidity."
